Hall Of Pilgrims

The growing number of pilgrims over the years in this holy temple town of Akkalkot, led to the inception of this community hall project.

The hall designed to work in the dry conditions of the town, is divided into two levels to allow for gathering of the pilgrims. The building is enveloped by a passage on all sides, thus creating an ease in circulation and also acts as a shading device for the central congregation space.

The main entrance staircase leads to a common spill out space, connecting to the passage and ending with a courtyard.
