Conservation Of Raey Art Workshop, JJ School Of Arts

In 1878 JJ school of Art was established of Neo Gothic architecture.

In 1890, Lord Reay’s workshop was established to facilitate instruction in Indian crafts such as pottery, textiles, metal work, and wood engraving Vernacular in style, it is a Load-bearing ground structure with timber post, steel trusses with Mangalore roofing and is Assigned as Grade II-A.

An adaptive reuse proposal along with the restoration of the roof and the classrooms, the restored structure will function as workshops for the students.
